Last evening, the senior boys basketball team moved to 6 and 1 on the
season with a win against a fiesty Amherst team by a score of 73 - 68.
Anthony Limbombe led the scoring with 28 as he man-handled any defender
that tried to stop him. Despite missing many open layups, Djordje led the
guards with 22 points and Greg Mullins added 14 points. Next up is Herman
on Thursday at their place. Players are reminded of their practice at
4:15 after school.
There are only SIX days of school before exams. If you are a Resource
student and would like to write your exams in Resource, please stop by to
see Mrs. Hart or Mrs. Gesuale and sign up. **Monday Jan. 23 is the LAST
day for you to do this!!**
Attention Saints Choir members going to Orlando we do have a rehearsal
tonight after school from 2:30 to 4:30pm. But for the next 2 weeks there
will be no rehearsal due to the exams and second semester turnover.

Your Saint Girls Hockey team skated last night at Tecumseh Arena to a 2-2
tie. The girls took an early 2 nothing lead after Mackie Callery pounded
in a a rebound off of Dana Byrnie initial shot and Gabby Delaurier buried
the puck into an open net from 30 feet out. The Sandwich Sabres got back
into the game in the third. period. Amalia (the wall) Despenvic kept the
Saints form any further damage. Amalia had the best game of here career
last night. Miss Lady Bing (aka Carly Norris) was assesed a 2 minute minor
for her rail roading of one of a Sabres forwards in the second period.
Junior Boys Basketball:
Yesterday your Junior Saints doubled up the score on General Amherst 56 to
28 in WECSSAA action. The Generals had no answer to the Saints strong
inside game led by Vince Mullins, with 18 points, and Kyle Slade, with 12
points. Ryan Kiss added 9 points and Kevin Limbombe, with 4 blocks, and
Alex Bontorin, with several hustle plays, provided important spark off the
bench. Job well done boys, practice tonight 2:30 pm Carmelita Hall.
The Sr. Girls Volleyball team rolled over Brennan last night defeating
them 3 sets to nothing.
Great Defense was the key to this convincing win with some big hits and
huge blocks thrown in for good measure.
Everyone saw the floor and contributed well to the victory.
Way to go girls.
